03 – Qlik Sense – Join
En este tercer tutorial, aprenderás a juntar diferentes fuentes de datos mediante funciones de Qlik Sense JOIN. Esta función, y derivadas, sirven para modelar los datos con la finalidad de dejar una aplicación Qlik Sense con un modelo de datos analítico.
Cómo utilizar JOIN en Qlik Sense
En el siguiente vídeo encontrarás paso a paso cómo aplicar las diferentes instrucciones JOIN para tu modelo de datos. Si tu sabes cómo cargar un CSV en Qlik Sense, te recomiendo que leas la última entrega dónde te lo explico detalladamente.
Te dejo un ejemplo representativo de cómo aplicar los 4 diferentes tipos de Joins que nos permite Qlik realizar a nuestros datos:

| 2 | Azul |
| 3 | Amarillo |
| 4 | Verde |
| 5 | Negro |
| ID | Tienda |
| 1 | Tienda 1 |
| 2 | Tienda 1 |
| 3 | Tienda 2 |
| 4 | Tienda 1 |
| 6 | Tienda 2 |
Left Join. Tiene preferencia la tabla A (left) por tanto nos quedarían únicamente los registros cuyo ID aparezcan en la tabla A y nos añadiría la columna “Tienda”:
| ID | Product Name | Tienda |
| 1 | Rojo | Tienda 1 |
| 2 | Azul | Tienda 1 |
| 3 | Amarillo | Tienda 2 |
| 4 | Verde | Tienda 1 |
| 5 | Negro | – |
Right Join. Tiene preferencia la tabla B (right) por tanto nos quedarían únicamente los registros cuyo ID aparezcan en la tabla B y nos añadiría la columna “Tienda”:

| 1 | Rojo | Tienda 1 |
| 2 | Azul | Tienda 1 |
| 3 | Amarillo | Tienda 2 |
| 4 | Verde | Tienda 1 |
| 6 | – | Tienda 2 |
Inner Join. Nos quedamos con los registros cuyos IDs aparecen en las dos tablas A y B:
| ID | Product Name | Tienda |
| 1 | Rojo | Tienda 1 |
| 2 | Azul | Tienda 1 |
| 3 | Amarillo | Tienda 2 |
| 4 | Verde | Tienda 1 |
Outer Join o Join. Nos quedamos con los registros que aparecen en ambas tablas A y B independientemente que sólo estén en una de ellas:
| ID | Product Name | Tienda |
| 1 | Rojo | Tienda 1 |
| 2 | Azul | Tienda 1 |
| 3 | Amarillo | Tienda 2 |
| 4 | Verde | Tienda 1 |
| 5 | Negro | – |
| 6 | – | Tienda 2 |
